What is your Warranty Policy?
New Motors purchased at Reconit Electric are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase for personal and 06 months for commercial. Rebuild or Repaired Motors carry 30 days. This warranty is limited and shall be in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. There are no other warranties that extend beyond the description of the face hereof.
What items that does not carry a warranty?
Electronic parts such as Regulator, Circuit boards, Capacitors do not carry a warranty. They are not returnable for refund.
The liability of the Company arising out of its supply of said products, or their use, shall not in any case exceed the cost of correcting defects in the products as above set forth. The company cannot assume responsibility or accept invoices for unauthorized repairs to its components, even though the motors may be defective.

Is there a fee for returning an item?
A restocking fee applies to all returned items. Products must not have been installed and must be returned in unopened, original packaging.

The restocking fee may be waived upon receipt of a detailed invoice from a certified HVAC technician. The invoice must clearly include the technician’s name, company name, and reason/defect information.

Shipping and handling, Credit card fees, Freight back to return center are not refundable.
Terms and conditions of Warranty?
The warranty shall be void and of no effect if the following are performed & found on the motor:
​
(1) The motor has been subjected to improper installation, storage or handling; as well as, any abuse unsuitable for the motor;
(2) The motor was subjected to an unauthorized repair;
(3) The motor was subject to any water, Oil damage;
(4) The motor was engaged above its rated load;
(5) The motor lacked reasonable & necessary maintenance;
(6) Improper packaging for return.
(7) Electronic regulators, parts and Capacitors.

Reconit Electric Motors does not cover the cost of installation, removal or re-testing of the new or repaired products. Reconit Electric will not be liable for any costs or damage incurred by its customers in the removal or replacement of defective products from units in which the products have been assembled.
What is your return Policy?
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained from the company prior to returning any product. HVAC and ECM motors are non-returnable under any circumstances.

If a product needs to be returned for any reason, all freight charges must be prepaid by the customer. Return requests must be submitted within five (5) business days of the purchase date, and approved returns must be shipped to our Kitchener location.

RE-STOCKING FEE: Products returned in original, clean, and unmarked packaging are be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
What is your damage disclaimer?
In no event shall Reconit Electric be liable for any consequential, incidental, or other damages arising from or related to any infringement.
Reconit Electric shall not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, or any other indirect or economic damages incurred by the purchaser.
Is there a fee for testing or estimate?
There is a fee for testing motors and request for estimates. This will cover the time to examine the motor, Bench test, disassemble and diagnostic. Additional fee if customer request to re-assemble the unit. Alternator, Starter motor and pump motor testing available for kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph customers.

What is your HVAC furnace and Air Conditioning AC motor installaion Policy?
We do not install or service motors. Heating and air-conditioning systems, as well as indoor air quality equipment, are intended to be installed by qualified professionals only. In order to function safely and properly, they must be designed specifically for your home. These systems include electrical, gas, and refrigeration connections, which are regulated by a variety of laws, building codes, or guidelines. Failure to properly install a system can lead not only to performance issues, but also safety concerns or property damage.
ECM blower and induction motors communicate with electronic control boards and warranty coverage may also be affected, due to improper installation. There are also governmental requirements that, if not met, can result in significant fines. Qualified contractors should have the appropriate licenses.
What is the payment options?

Deposit Requirements:

For orders under $500.00, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the order.

For orders over $500.00, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the advance purchase.

Is there a fee for credit card purchase?
There is a 2.4% service charge if using credit card. The fee is not refundable. It will be applied in at the time of payment.
